Although the west has come to accept and use seemingly diverse practices as acupuncture, T'ai Chi Ch'aun, the I-Ching and feng shui, we have not clearly understood their inter-connectedness. Qi-gong, the practice of enhancing and directing chi or energy is the key to integrating the esoteric nature of Eastern practices. Thus Qi-gong is a way to strengthen the inner core and enhance the power of breath.
Chi-kung is a system practice to self- realization aimed at finding that balance between being and doing. It takes two distinct forms, still practice and moving practice. Moving practice deals mainly with the enhancement of the body's energy and flexibility, still practice cultivates the internal movement of ch'i, calming the mind and the creation of peace and awareness.
